Abstract:
Refusal of operative intervention because of high operative risk not infrequently deprives the patients of the only chance to prolong survival. Surgical treatment under hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) creates adequate conditions for such operations as oxygen saturation of the blood and tissues prevented hypoxia developing due to the severe operative trauma and blood loss. Intraoperative and early postoperative hemodynamic and gas exchange parameters become stable. HBO extends indications for operative treatment of renal carcinoma contributing to improvement of treatment results.
